June at the Oarsman

June brings yet another month containing an enchanted time:

Midsummer Eve & Midsummer Day, long languorous evenings, the magic of summer
giving sight of Saturn in the summer night sky.

We give over to the bounty the season brings as well:
Asparagus, Broad Beans & Peas, Cherries, Strawberries & Gooseberries…

Our terrace gives a perfect spot to sit back & enjoy some great seasonal cooking in the sunshine, right in the
centre of Marlow…

Courgette Fritters, Feta, Mint

Chicken Liver Parfait, Preserved Black Cherry

Fillet of Cod, Rosti, Baby Gem & Shrimp Salad

Lyonnaise Onion & Goat’s Cheese Tarte Fine

Rosé, Rosé, Rosé (& Orange)

Our slightly bonkers wine list, features over 300 bins with 200 varietals from more than 40 countries & has now been featured in the Star Wine List !

Not to mention the summer fun within…

We have partnered with a range of great producers,
from the classic Aix Provencal Rosé
to less well known producers such as
El Otro Lado: An Intense orange wine
full of tropical fruit flavours, apricots,
pithy citrus fruit and dry tannins.

We will be open across the
Fathers Day Weekend &
are now taking reservations.

With a few specials from Scott Including:

Hicce & Hicce Hart, London

It was a much needed trip to Ibiza of all places, which led to the idea of becoming a chef.
With no serious kitchen experience, but nothing to lose, she applied for a commis role at Gordon Ramsay’s York & Albany.
It was here she worked under the tutelage of Angela Hartnett, eventually going on to become Head Chef at the Michelin star
Murano restaurant in 2014 before opening
Hicce in 2018 & Hicce Hart in 2022…
