Reopening announcement

We are planning to open soon, once we know how the market is reacting to pub openings and the demand for products, hours of service and levels of staff required to provide a secure and safe environment for our staff and guests. We will do this by monitoring and working our sister pubs in advance of a full re-opening of our estate very soon.

We thank you for your patience as we try to manage our return in the best possible way to deliver the service and products that you have come to expect from us in short time we have been open.

Very best regards the Team at The Oarsman

Located on the site of the old Cross Keys, The Oarsman has been recently refurbished, by a small local independent pub operator, and now offers locals and visitors alike an old fashioned bar and restaurant in a very convenient location at the top end of Marlow High St.

At the Bar

We are starting with a good selection of beers, wines and spirits, just to get us going and as we get a chance to assess demand, we will be adding and possibly subtracting as necessary.

Beers and Ciders – 16 beers on pump and a further 16 behind the bar, plus we do also have a decent selection of low/no alcohol beers and cider for those of you who are driving or looking to keep your wits about you.

Wines – 18 wines by the glass, and premium wines by the bottle, enough to keep the oenophiles happy.

Spirits – A standard and premium range of gins and tonics served with all the right garnishes. Our gin list currently runs at 16, although that number will grow over time. Plus: 17 whiskies, 8 rums and the usual selection of vodkas, brandies and summer deck favourites.

From the kitchen

Our menu is short but well-rounded. We will be adding to the specials board on a very regular basis and this menu is by no means final, but it gives you an idea of where we’re going…

Wherever possible we will be minimising food miles and using seasonal produce on our specials board.
