This September is a packed one. We’re turning five, Masaki Sugisaki and the Dinings SW3 team return to The Room Upstairs for two weekends of shared-table omakase, and we’re opening for lunch Monday to Wednesday too.

Our Fifth Birthday
Five years ago, we opened the doors on Spittal Street. This one’s for everyone who’s been through them since.
From the 21st to the 28th of September, we’re marking it properly: £5 pints, £5 Negronis and a £5 kitchen snack, all week. No booking required, just come and drink to it with us.
It’s been five years of Bib Gourmands, sold-out Sundays and a Room Upstairs that’s rarely had a quiet weekend. Thank you for being part of it, the next one starts here.

Dinings SW3 Returns
We loved the last visit enough to ask them back. This September, Executive Chef Masaki Sugisaki and the team from Dinings SW3 in Knightsbridge take over The Room Upstairs again, for two weekends only: 17th–20th and 24th–27th September.
Guests sit together at a single shared table for a multi-course omakase menu, built around Masaki’s gill-to-tail philosophy and shaped by the season. Lunch is £85 per person, dinner £115, with optional wine and sake pairing alongside a non-alcoholic option.
It’s Japanese cooking of the kind Marlow doesn’t often see, served the way Masaki serves it in Chelsea: considered, unhurried, and around one table.

Lunch Is Back on Weekdays
From Monday 14th September, we’re opening for lunch Monday to Wednesday, alongside our usual Thursday to Sunday service.
More days to get the food you’d normally save for later in the week, whether that’s a working lunch or an excuse to sit in for an hour.

Slow Sundays
A proper roast, a full seasonal à la carte alongside it, and nowhere you need to be after. Sunday lunch reservations run until 4pm, and the kitchen doesn’t stop there – snacks through to pudding, if you’re staying on. After the plates are cleared, the bar’s still open, so stay for a drink and see where the afternoon takes you.

We look forward to welcoming you
