After the prolonged darkness of winter, Spring brings with it a sense of renewal, light and warmth.

Ancient, twisted branches, once barren, now burst forth with fresh, vibrant green shoots; dormant bulbs awaken from the cold, shadowy earth; playful lambs frolic in the fields; melodies of birds fill the air, accompanied by the start of new life. Purple sprouting broccoli, radishes, asparagus and sorrel blossom towards the warm sunshine as it reappears once more.

A renewed vitality resonates within us, echoing the awakening of the natural world. Join us at The Oarsman and reconnect with nature through through beautiful dishes created with the seasonal ingredients about which we are so very passionate.

SPRING LAMB & WINE DINNER

To celebrate Spring’s stunning produce, we are delighted to host our first Spring Lamb & Wine Dinner on Wednesday 17th April.

The evening will be a celebration of this restorative, refreshing season and, sponsored by Hallgarten & Novum wines, you can expect to learn more about perfect seasonal wine pairings.

The Dinner will be matched with not one but two wines per course, selected to complement the food and introduced by Joe Wadhams and Harry Penhaul from Hallgarten Wines.
