At The Oarsman, a pub and restaurant in Marlow, Sundays have a rhythm of their own.
Start at the bar – something from the wine list or a seasonal cocktail – before settling into a roast in the dining room, and letting the afternoon unfold from there.

At its core, it’s about good produce, cooked properly.
Our meat comes from HG Walter, chosen for quality and consistency.
From there, it’s the details that matter – how everything is cooked, seasoned, and brought together.
A plate that feels generous, but considered.
Everything where it should be.
On The Plate
| Roasts follow the season. Entrecôte with braised cabbage, carrot purée, crisp potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Roast pork loin built on the same foundations – rich, comforting, and done properly. There’s always a vegetable-led option too, approached in the same way – like grilled curried cauliflower. Seasonal sides are available too – cauliflower cheese, hispi cabbage, or something fresher. |

The Finer Details
Beyond the plate, it’s what sits around it.
Warm, assured service.
Something opened from the cellar, poured by Coravin.
Cocktails that take cues from the kitchen.
A space that invites you to settle in.
