Spring is settling in at The Oarsman in Marlow.
A bit more light, a bit more warmth, and that familiar shift in pace.
Longer afternoons, the terrace opening up, and more reason to linger.
The menu moves with it.
Wild garlic, asparagus, British cod, and Yorkshire rhubarb taking their place.
Greener, brighter, but still grounded in Oarsman cooking – thoughtful, flavour-led, and consistent.

Wild garlic risotto with parmesan – rich and unctuous.
Paired it with an Alsace orange that brings texture, aroma, and a gentle grip.
Pork chop with wild mushrooms and Scotch sauce – hearty and generous.
Sitting nicely alongside a Bourgogne Aligoté – bright, mineral, and keeping everything in check.
In The Glass
| The Raspberry Clover: Marlow Raspberry Gin, Asterley Rosé Vermouth, lemon. Fresh, lightly sharp, and very easy to settle into. Guinness and Murphy’s remain on tap – the perfect match for our snack menu, whichever your preference. |

Coming Soon
The terrace at The Oarsman is coming into its own again.
A refreshed space, new small plates and cocktails, and a format that suits how people want to spend time in Marlow at this point in the year – something lighter, a little more relaxed, but still considered.
Further Ahead
Further ahead, we’ll be at Pub in the Park here in Marlow from 14–17 May.
A chance to take a bit of The Oarsman beyond the pub, and bring something back with us.
At the pub, there’s more on the way.
Frozen cocktails making their first appearance, and the menu continuing to shift with the season.
We look forward to welcoming you
