Rugby and Wimbledon take over the Snug, new seasonal dishes land, Aperitivo Hour runs through the week, and Sundays are in no hurry to end. Plenty to come in for this July.

The Rugby’s On
We’ll be showing World Rugby Nations Championship matches in the Snug throughout the summer, England fixtures included.
Best alongside a Guinness or Murphy’s — grilled merguez with mustard, beef and garlic croquettes, and pork rillettes with sourdough toast and pickles for the table. Tables can be booked, and for England games, we’d recommend doing that sooner rather than later.
Upcoming England Fixtures
Saturday 4 July — South Africa v England, 4.40pm
Saturday 11 July — England v Fiji, 2.10pm
Saturday 18 July — Argentina v England, 8.10pm
Wimbledon in the Snug
Throughout the tournament, Wimbledon will be on in the Snug all day.
The bar will be serving English strawberries and cream, with pink and white Harrow & Hope fizz by the glass. A very good way to watch the tennis — drop in for a match, or settle in for the afternoon.

On the Plate: Seared Cod
Fresh, savoury, quietly bold.
The cod flakes, and holds its own against the chilli. Peanut running through for crunch, everything marrying together on the finish.
On now.
Aperitivo Hour
A spritz and a snack for £15, served in the bar or out on the terrace when the weather allows.
An early evening drink, a bite to eat, and nowhere in particular to be.
Monday–Friday, 5–7pm
Slow Sundays
Sundays are stretching on. The Sunday menu’s grown for summer, and from 4pm it’s summer pours, snacks and no rush to leave
We look forward to welcoming you
