Imbolc and St. Brigid’s Day fall on the 1st and both have association with dairy,
so no matter how grim the month ahead you have every reason to start the month with
creamy desserts and lashings of butter on everything from Katy Rogers Dairy.
One thing we love is the absurdity of The Cantabrian Anchovy on toast,
with a fat slab of butter and sliced shallot – it’s sounds wrong, but it’s actually banging!
The first of Yorkshire rhubarb has arrived and we have Pink Grapefruit and Rosemary Caipirinha’s on the bar.
St Valentine is also the Patron Saint of Beekeeper’s.
So during the month of February we will be celebrating all things Honey
Honey Mousse, Honeycomb, Pollen, Mead in association with Ed’s Bees,
Raw Glasgow Honey and maybe some mead.
This Valentine’s Day we thought what better than to devote
a whole weekend to dishes to share.
